ACT and SAT are rescheduling the upcoming tests for early summer
Although the academic requirements to receive TOPS remain unchanged, the State Legislature has approved BESE's request to allow the June 2020 ACT be used to qualify for TOPS. As for now, the June 2020 test will be the last opportunity for Seniors and Early Graduates to qualify. Sign up at ACT.org.
From DCC: The final day for dropping Spring 2020 semester courses with a "W" or withdrawing from College has now been extended to May 4, 2020
If you are currently taking one or more DE classes, and you are NOT a Graduating Senior, there are options available to you. You can,
1) finish the course using the online/distance learning method provided by the college,
2) opt for "In Progress" and finish by 8/31/2020,
3) Withdraw from the class and retake later.
Graduating Seniors MUST choose Option 1) above if they want to graduate in May.
For now, Dual Enrollment Registration for Summer/Fall is proceeding as normal. The process remains the same, but we will not meet face to face and you will have to fill out necessary paperwork and then scan it and send it back to me. DCC deadline is 5/15. UNO reg is open, but they have not provided a deadline.
I will email more details and links to each rising Junior and Senior, inshallah. -Mrs. Becky
